Today is Palm Sunday, the day we commemorate Jesus'  triumphant entrance into Jerusalem.  We carry palms to remind us of the ancient Jews who placed branches on the road before Jesus while they hailed him as their King.  Just a few short days later, Jesus would be betrayed by one of his own and then he would suffer and die a horrible death by Roman hands.  Let us ask forgiveness for the sins that caused this terrible suffering.
